Until then, I thought I would feed your need for inspiration from the fabulous island where we celebrated. Nantucket always pulls at my vintage heart strings. When thinking of Nantucket - for some reason my mind always goes to the image of big dinner parties outside that have a casually elegant feel. You know, laid back but beautiful with a glamorous feeling of tradition. These vintage postcard place cards would be perfect for such a sun-kissed summer affair or perhaps even a rehearsal dinner. The postcards could be from your hometown (or your guest's hometown), the place where you met, or the wedding location - just love, love, love the idea.

LOVING this idea. Just like my friend postcards and pretties, I ADORE postcards and am swooning hard over this setting! Btw, cannot wait to hear more/see more from your killer weekend, Abby. I am foaming at the mouth.
Abby, this is incredibly charming! My family is super big on postcards, we still send them on every trip. Love it!
This is wonderful post! That tablecloth is so sweet. The vintage postcards have always be my weakness. I collected a few and framed them as an art work in my office. Have a wonderful day :)
i absolutely love this idea! i love all things vintage of course, but i love the fact that you could really personalize it for your guest if you wanted! i can't wait to hear more about the party!
How pretty and sweet! Do you know I have never been to Nantucket? Every summer I say I am going to go! I hope your bachelorette was AMAZING! xoxo
