A Big Thank You {& some Shoes}

As I slowly come down from the wedding planning, honeymoon clouds and back to real life in the Super Burbs (which is a nice place to come back to, let me just say) I am overwhelmed with an enormous feeling of thanks.  I can never say thank you enough to everyone for making this time in our lives so memorable. We truly enjoyed every second of the wedding day and all of your advice was dead on (including the Red Bull tip).   I just hope I can continue to inspire brides and help them with their planning the way I was guided - that is my goal. And meeting goals is one of my favorite things.

 {Just a teaser from Leila at Olive Juice Photography - such a tease that Leila}

I also need to say one more things before we get back to regularly schedule programming aka Tuesday Shoesday - TAKE A HONEYMOON. You don't need to go anywhere, you can just have a nice little staycation, but turn off your phones, computer, etc. and enjoy the only time people actually will leave you alone for a bit. Mr. C & I have always been tight, but the honeymoon made me feel like it was just me and Mr. C against the world. And sorry world, but we are quite the rockstar team so you might need to be worried.  Seriously though, each day as we became more and more disconnected from everything we became more and more connected to each other. Corny, I know - but after a year of wedding planning, life planning, etc. etc. it's the best wedding present of all. Just hanging out. 24 hours a day for 13 days - we loved every second of it.

Ok...ready for some shoes? I came back from honeymoonland to loads of catalogs including the Fall Anthropologie catalog. The ladies and gents at Anthropologie dedicated their entire fall catalog to me! Kidding, but seriously - I want everything in there. Mr. C even came home yesterday, flipped through it and said to me - "You want everything in here, don't you?".  Why yes Mr. C, I do. Funny that you should mention that. They really played up the equestrian style and therefore made my heart strings play a beautiful song. I am not fully ready for Summer to be over - but these beauties will warm my soul when the colder temperatures hit. Love the ruffles!!

Phew. I have so much to say - but I know you have things to do and places to go, so I will save it for the coming week.  I really missed y'all and thank you SO MUCH again!!

xoxo,
Mrs. C ;)

I missed you this much (imagine arms open wide) I'm glad your back and you are so right. A honeymoon is in order for us. We had a destination wedding and thought, "We are on an island why do we need to go away?" Wrong everyone was still on that very island with us. Great advice. Now for the boot. I was looking for a pair of shnazzy riding boots and I think you just found them for me! Love them!
