I have chosen to embrace the crazy and nest away...aka find cute dog things to buy. If you have any fabulous sites I need to be aware of, please let me know. This is a whole new world of shopping for me {side note: I will never dress this dog up. Not that there is anything wrong with that...} Here are a few things on my wish list right now, apparently I've fallen in love with Harry Barker.

Golden Retrievers are the best, so loveable and super affectionate :) Ours is about 10 months :)
As far as shopping, I wouldn't buy a super nice bed at first (they like to chew like any dog) atleast not til you train the little guy or girl. Once that happens buy super big fluffy beds ga lore!!

Oooo! Love the Harry Barker pup collars! Very cute! That bed/shoe shelf is pretty fab as well.
I love golden retrievers. They are just absolutely adorable and smart pups. The hubs had a black lab and she was awesome.
I feel ya on the nesting. I really really wanted a pup right now but can't because our landlords won't let us. But pups in Europe have it good out here! They can go anywhere you go except for the supermarket. They also walk here without leashes. :)

So exciting for you both!! Those dog beds are pretty enough to have in the house dog or no dog!!! Hopefully we'll be getting our puppy next summer!!

Otto is sooo loved...we can all feel it!!! What a very lucky puppy. Once you pick him and and he's home you will have to take lots of pics and share with us! Harry Barker has such cute stuff. And I love the pic with the big dog bed...a spot to all his own ;-) So happy for you both!

Yay! A puppy! So exciting! You guys will have a blast!
I highly recommend a "Y" bone. (A nylon bone in the shape of a Y.) Simplest dog toy out there perhaps, but one of the best, I think. My dogs each got one as a puppy, and they still love them to this day. It's like a pacifier for a puppy. Keeps them happy and occupied for hours on end. And it's wicked cute to watch them figure out how to hold it between their paws and chew on it at the same time. It usually take a few days. :)
I'll live vicariously through u. We're not allowed pets in our complex! Sooo annoying. :(

BTW completely with you on the dressing up your pet...I think its a smaller dog thing. Having a Border Collie myself, I couldn't imagine her in a sweater!

How cute!! I love those dog accessories! One thing I've learned though, dogs don't care about fancy beds, clothes or toys. All they need is your love and some old fashioned dog treats :) Trust me, I've learned that!
