I fell in love with
Sayles Livingston the minute I sat down on her couch. I found her through
Style Me Pretty and when we met, we literally sat for over an hour and talked about flowers for maybe half that time. The other half we talked about finding one's passion and having a life balance. This was before I left the corporate world and hearing her talk really put me on a mission to find my way. Anyway, I completely gave Sayles the reins when it came to the flowers - I wanted something that made sense with our venue, tied in the Del's truck here and there
{more about that later}, and I wanted our monogrammed initials on the church doors. From there, Sayles created perfection.
One fun detail to note - my bouquet was wrapped with the sleeve of my mother's wedding dress and I had one of my dad's guitar picks stuck inside. Their marriage has inspired me my entire life, and I really wanted to reflect that in some way. This was a little nod those two crazy kids...
Don't worry - there is still more to come today!

Crazy! I did the same thing with my mom's dress! Too Funny!
Trueprep34 - I love it! Also obviously love that you were married at the Ocean House :) Do you have pics?
Thanks for stopping by! xoxo
Love your bouquet! And, I love when you really connect with a vendor. I definitely did that with more than one of mine.
what a sweet gesture..i love your dads picked tucked in your bouquet
Of course I have photos, I was trying to pull together an assortment so that you could see them. I don't have photos of our stationary but I chose the pink and navy and the whale from the pants and our monogram and incorporated it throughout. We also rented the house next to the church for the week for our wedding party and did cocktails and croquet on the Friday before! I would love to do it all over again.
