Elysium Productions: Our Wedding Video

Well, we are back from Vail and having serious vacation / skiing withdrawals. So to keep the pep in my step today, I am watching our full wedding video from the oh so amazing Elysium on repeat (we just got it last week!). Serious repeat, like probably 25 times already this morning. I am so in love with it.

And yes I am crying.

It also means I have to pull myself away from the new SMP board builder {which I am officially addicted to} for a few days, yikes. I so wish to bring the hat back at formal gatherings. Come one Kate Middleton, I am depending on you. I dream of rocking something as glamorous as one of these beautiful head pieces one day - I do believe I could then conquer the world {or at least my to-do list}.

Here we are at Friday already! Can you believe it? I am super excited about this weekend because it's bachelorette time for one of my nearest and dearest friends. I can not even wait for her wedding next month, I literally have ants in my pants! Before I head off to a weekend surrounded around some of my favorites, I thought I would leave you with a few of my favorite things from around the block this week.

I love Sweet Emilia Jane {fellow SMP contributor & event designer extraordinaire}. She is sweet {hence the name}, talented and oh so crafty. This wedding she featured recently just goes to show how talented the little lady is.

Wedding Wednesday: Destination Dreaming

I am admittedly a complete Pollyanna. I  can always find the positive in just about everything {it's true and probably somewhat annoying to some}. Today, however, is just one of those days when I would like to be whisked away {Mr. C...these hints are for you} to somewhere warm and sunny, Otto in tow, to just get away. But because Mr. C is probably working late tonight and won't be whisking me away to a tropical oasis anytime soon, I decided to get lost in some gorgeous destination weddings in the SMP archives this Wedding Wednesday. Care to join me?

It goes without saying, Jose Villa brings out anyone's inner Pollyanna and even more so when he brings us images from this gorgeous Maui wedding. Love.

I'm feeling a little retro today for some reason. Maybe I just wish it was warm enough to wear short, little dresses without fifteen additional layers. Regardless, when I stumbled on these photos on Kelli Murray's blog what really caught my attention was...those shoes. Retro perfection.
