Why hello lovelies, fancy seeing you around these parts. How are you? I've missed you so very much - and although I am busy in the best possible way, I do miss chatting with y'all for sure. Every week I say, "Sir Otto, please make sure I blog this..." Or "Sir Otto, isn't this a great idea for a post?" and he constantly reminds me to find time to blog yet I just can't seem to set aside the minutes in the day to get to it. It's a sore spot between the two of us...but we are working on it. Starting with this very post inspired by Mint - the red-headed step sister to the pantone color of the year Tangerine. You see, I love Tangerine - who doesn't? She's pretty and fresh and the perfect POC - how can you not just adore her? But there is another pretty as can be color sneaking up on us this year...letting Tangerine have the spotlight while she freshens up a bit, and that lovely shade is mint. And where Tangerine is energetic, mint is calming - so I am pretty fond of her. What do you think?

Mountain Retreat Day Dreaming

If you know me at all - you know if I love something, I love it hard. Skiing just happens to be one of those things. We spent a few days on the slopes last week, and getting me off that mountain was not that easy. So I spent the remainder of the weekend dreaming of a ski chalet for us to escape to (if only in our dreams) right down to the chandeliers.

Oh to have a little slope side cabin to fill with the most fabulous decor. I must admit, while others might be thinking of where they want to apres ski as they glide down the mountain - I'm typically thinking of what bedding would be best for the imaginary bunk beds in our imaginary house. Issues.
